Package Handler at Kelly Services play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and secure delivery of documents, packages, and other items to clients and businesses. This position requires punctuality, reliability, and the ability to handle items with care.

Responsibilities of Package Handler:

• Deliver goods to customers or companies safely and in a timely fashion.
• Supervise a variety of delivery tasks including loading and unloading procedures, ensuring the precision and integrity of all deliveries.
• Prior to and following delivery, review orders to confirm accuracy, correct charges, and customer satisfaction. Keep in constant communication with the central dispatch unit to receive prompt updates on delivery instructions or any modifications in schedules.
• Obtain payments and necessary signatures from patrons while overseeing the documentation of transactions.
• Regularly monitor the delivery vehicle to ensure it operates efficiently and inform management of any malfunctions or accidents that occur.
• Traverse a variety of routes within the city and make it a point to comply with all traffic laws and regulations as you move along.
• Ensure the items' confidentiality and security are upheld during delivery.

Qualifications of Package Handler:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a courier or delivery driver. Valid professional driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with using GPS devices and local geographical knowledge for efficient navigation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; capable of managing tight schedules.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy items and stand for extended periods.
